Postion: Contractor

Time: Part Time (~20 hours per week), with the potential to become full time in May 

Location: Calgary, remote

Salary: $30-40K

The Role:

As a social media account manager, you liaise between the internal Poolside team and the client. Step up to lead the management of the client’s social media platforms to the best of your ability including creating and executing day-to-day content and posting. The position is remote but ideally, you’re located in Calgary to be able to occasionally meet with the client, help with content creation shoots and attend monthly in-person team meetings. You will have creative freedom to help develop client campaigns, strategies and content ideas.

The Responsibilities:

  • Lead the internal team on each client’s needs, strategy and overall performance to ensure we are providing the highest quality client service, communication and client trust

  • Create and execute the monthly content calendar for your clients including writing captions, finding creative and all posting

  • Put together a monthly analytics report for your clients with performance data and expert insights on how to adjust the current strategy

  • Community management and engagement for your clients to ensure we are reaching new people and building a stronger community for them

  • Contribute to team discussions on client strategy, creative campaign ideas and overall client satisfaction

  • Stay up to date with trends, platform updates and all things social media

Who we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 6 months experience managing a business social media account

  • A passion for social media and staying up to date on trends 

  • Willing to be flexible and adjust responsibilities as we onboard and offboard new clients. We have a small team and work together as equals, relying on each of our strengths to provide the best service for our clients

  • Proficient in all social media platforms including creating + editing reels/tiktoks 

  • Comfortable with being in front of and speaking on camera for videos shared on client social media accounts

  • A self-starter who works well without micromanagement and will take initiative when solving problems

  • Very organized with strong time management skills
